Assistant Operations Manager, with a Class A License.

We are looking for a full-time Assistant Operations Manager to join our team. Family and friendly Local Quincy company is looking for a Professional truck driver who is ready to branch out into operations management, this person will have a variety of duties tailored to their strengths.

Provide support to the Owner in the areas of sales, marketing, customer service, training and general management.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to, managing employees as well as all aspects of vehicle maintenance for our fleet. Candidate must have excellent customer service and management skills. This role also requires someone who can problem solve and multitask effectively.

Responsibilities:

· Prepare daily schedule and assign employees accordingly.

· Schedule local moves

· Maintain, inspect & schedule repairs for equipment.

· Monitor employee’s driver’s license, physicals & drug/alcohol testing.

· Driver log compliance

· Reconcile and record fuel and expense reports.

· Prepare various yearly reports and forms.

· Oversee warehouse activities

Occasional Duties:

· Making Deliveries

· Unloading & Spotting Trucks

*Class A CDL required*
