Quintara Biosciences is a customer-oriented CRO company focused on cloning, DNA extraction, and gene synthesis. We have an entry-level technician position available for our Molecular Services team and are looking for motivated candidates.

Basic requirements:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred. Lab experience is preferred.
• Ability to work five days a week, possibly including one weekend day.
• Meticulousness, reliability, and responsibility.
• Ability to interview and take an assessment for approximately an hour at Quintara Bio in-person.
• Ability to be a communicative team member in a long term role.

Duties include:

• Handling customer samples and performing essential molecular biology and biotechnology laboratory techniques such as PCR, gel electrophoresis, DNA assembly, and plasmid prep.
• Quality control, interpreting data, and troubleshooting.
• Following standard operating procedures and good lab practices.
• Maintaining accurate, detailed lab and production records.

There will be an evaluative period of 3 months during which you will be paid an hourly wage of $22. Your progress will be tracked, with expectations for gradual improvement, and a full-time salary offer will be made at the end of the trial period if you prove capable for the position.
