The Opportunity

We are looking for a dynamic team player to join our TV Platform Distribution team! The TV Distribution Associate will manage accounts for assigned US territory of affiliated cable distributors for QVC and HSN channels. You will review distribution contracts for assigned accounts to understand respective QxH (QVC &HSN) and affiliate contractual obligations and ensure compliance.

Our team is responsible for Account Management of Cable TV Distributors for the 5 QVC & HSN Networks; with cable, satellite, telco and other video distributors across the US. We ensure that all assigned accounts and QVC/HSN are compliant under their agreements.

Your Impact

Query databases for all necessary account updates and prepare reports to issue to distributors to collect data following agreements.
Ensure that all data necessary for the accurate and compliant payment of commissions is updated in the database.
Communicate with outside account contacts to obtain periodic reports required to update database.
Field notices from affiliates for ownership changes, management changes, and change in current channel carriage, and new channel carriage.
Process internal paperwork to modify database for channel carriage changes, change of ownership structures, and carriage termination.
Support overall Platform Distribution department in conducting large account channel lineup audits to collect and download updated channel lineup and carriage information.
Provide periodic specialist support to an assigned functional area of department, such as Marketing and Promotional activity, and for other recurring projects where needed to support Managers.

What You Bring

You hold a Bachelor’s Degree or associate degree in business/IT, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
You have 3 years experience with a TV network or programming distributor, or similar industry experience.
You have experience in an account management environment which includes database management experience and distributor marketing and promotion.
Database management skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Remote work is not permitted in NYC at this time.
You are open to working in the office 3-5 days per month.
