THE OPENING
R.D. Olson Construction is growing and needs Project Managers for a luxury hospitality project in La Quinta, CA.
Project Manager is a key step on our Project Manager Career Ladder and serves as a crucial member of our construction project team. The Project Manager will manage the project costs, schedules, safety, client satisfaction and other duties leading to a successful build.
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

• BS in Construction Science, Construction Management, or a related Engineering field or 3 - 8 years of increasingly responsible project engineering or project management experience.
• Hospitality or multifamily experience with a construction general contractor preferred.
• Proficiency in using Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project.
• Live in the La Quinta, California area.

PROJECT MANAGER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the project team to ensure the success of the project, including costs, schedule, quality, safety, and mentoring/training of team members.
• Negotiate and write all Subcontract scope of work and manage the costs for the project from beginning through completion.
• Perform overall site and building analysis, detailed plan review for constructability, serviceability, project delivery, and site logistics.
• Prepare construction schedule with project team, incorporating procurements to monitor delivery dates, submittal approvals, fabrication dates, etc.
• Develop and maintain relationship with the owner while studying the owner contract in detail to ensure all requirements are being met.

SALARY AND BENEFITS
R.D. Olson Construction combines numerous pay and benefits strategies to provide a comprehensive and competitive total rewards package. Any salary range displayed by a job board is an estimate. Your salary, which considers your unique qualifications and experience, is just one component of the total rewards you will enjoy with R.D. Olson Construction. This may include discretionary annual performance bonus, project-based bonus, auto allowance, comprehensive benefits and wellness programs, 401k plan with generous matching, and career development program. The salary range for this position is $101,000 to $155,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
