Job description:

Plan manual and measurement activities to ensure quality product which conforms to customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

Participate in quote, kickoff, and status meetings as well as customer reviews

Understand customer requirements, to develop effective quality control processes.

Lead APQP, PPAP, and continuous improvement efforts

Develop internal quality procedures, work instructions

Prioritize inspections, and review data for acceptance, with respect to delivery schedule

Ensure calibrations are current on department measuring devices which affect conformance of product

Participate in identifying Corrective and Preventive Action Measures

Identify and ensure quality personnel are authorized to stop production for nonconforming parts

Maintain Nonconforming Quarantine Area

Participate in identifying opportunities for improvement

Identify, Monitor, and Report Nonconformance Trends to QMS Manager

Contact customers when it is identified that nonconforming product has been shipped

Determine and provide required or supplemental training for subordinates per the Training Process (SP-700)

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
