Job Purpose
The Director of Business Development will be focused on gasoline dealer accounts, with primary responsibility to drive the growth of R. H. Foster’s gasoline distribution network. Will identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with gasoline dealers, ensuring our products are available and competitive in the market. Role will be involved in strategic planning, sales forecasting, market analysis, and executing initiatives to expand our presence in targeted regions.

Qualifications

Must possess a strong understanding of the gasoline distribution market, including industry trends, competitor landscape, and regulatory requirements. Have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders. Be a strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a track record of achieving sales targets. Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Have a willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours as needed.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably in the gasoline distribution or petroleum industry.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
