Job Description Digital and Media Designer Full-Time, Monday - Friday, Various Shifts Earn 2 weeks of vacation after 90 days of employment Come and experience the difference with R L Carriers R L Carriers is expanding its Information Technology Department and has an immediate opening for a Digital and Media Designer at our Ocala, FL Service Center.Successful candidates will work within the Marketing and Information Technology Department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Conceptualize, design, and deliver a diverse array of visual solutions for digital and print media, including social media graphics, logos, website designs, brochures, advertisements, presentations, email marketing, and branding materials, ensuring cohesive layouts and creative concepts across various platforms.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and reinforce a consistent brand image across different marketing platforms.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing project manager, copywriters, and other cross-functional partners to align design elements with marketing strategies and campaign objectives.
- Manage multiple design projects concurrently, ensuring deadlines are met and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Quality control/auditing and developing email marketing campaigns
- Develop mockups for a range of creative proposals
- Participate in design critique. Effectively implement feedback and changes to refine and iterate designs and ensure alignment with project goals.
Qualifications: - Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and Canva is required, Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro is a bonus.
- Detail oriented and excellent time-management skills
- Knowledge of current design trends and industry best practices
- Openness to feedback and willingness to rework designs
- Must be team player, with the ability to work under tight deadlines, with outstanding organizational and communication skills, allowing priority & workflow management
- A bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing, visual arts, or a related field
- Fluent with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Desire to learn, grow, and innovate
- Strong portfolio of work experience that shows knowledge of typography, color, composition, spacing, and layout design skills is required
