Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Establish communications systems by installing, operating, and maintaining voice and data equipment.
- Establish voice and data networks by running, pulling and terminating cables.
- Ensure quality of installations by testing circuits, equipment and alarms.
- Identify and troubleshoot system performance and technical issues, engaging vendors and business partners as needed.
- Prepare reports of throughput, uptime and other metrics for business and capacity planning.
- Assist with system upgrades and lifecycle replacements as recommended by the manufacturers.
- Generate and maintain documentation as needed.
- Share in on-call responsibilities.
- Cisco CCNA certification or equivalent experience preferred.
- 3 years of experience planning, configuring and installing enterprise-grade voice networking hardware. Experience with Cisco solutions is preferred.
- Experience with voice gateways: MGCP, SIP, H. 323, SCCP, digital PRI / T1, analog FXO / FXS on Cisco 2900/3900/4000 and legacy devices.
- 1 years of experience with configuration and deployment of routers, switches and cabling in an enterprise environment.
- Experience testing, troubleshooting and analytical skills to isolate problems and implement solutions.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
