Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team and contribute to our financial operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and collections, to ensure timely payments and receipts.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, providing financial insights and recommendations to support business decision-making.
  • Cost Accounting: Analyze production costs and inventory levels, identifying areas for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
6. Financial Analysis: Conduct variance analysis and financial performance evaluations, identifying key drivers of profitability and areas for improvement.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously review accounting processes and procedures, identifying opportunities for streamlining workflows and enhancing efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Epicor) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations (GAAP).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Prior experience with cost accounting and inventory management is a plus.
