Summary: Provides support in functional areas of a human resources department, which may include recruitment and employment, and personnel records. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relieves officials of clerical work and minor administrative and business detail by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave, recruiting, performance, and talent management, productivity, recognition, and morale, occupational health and safety, and training and development
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
- Run reports and/or conduct research on various topics as assigned
- Compose and type routine correspondence
- Organize and maintain file system, file correspondence, and other records
- Prepare outgoing mail and correspondence, including e-mail and faxes
- Front desk phone coverage during lunches, daily
- Assist with various Human Resources tasks, as needed
- Other duties as assigned

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma plus Human Resources experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of ATS and HRIS systems.
- High efficiency in Microsoft Office - Excel/Word/Outlook
