SAP S/4 HANA SD Consultant (O2C)

Job Description

Support clients in the implementation and support of SAP SD module. This role uses consulting skills, business knowledge, and SAP solution expertise to effectively integrate SAP technology into the client’s business environment in order to achieve the clients expected E2E OTC business processes transformation into SAP S/4HANA. Candidate must have 8 years’ experience in SAP SD.

SAP Certified candidate would be preferred. Candidate must have done at least 1 – 2 E2E SAP ECC implementations and 1 – 2 E2E S/4HANA green or brown field full lifecycle implementations. Candidate should have global implementation experience.

Duties and responsibilities:

The Consultant facilitates the implementation and support of SAP sales & distribution to enhance the clients’ business functionality and overall performance, while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction.

Ability to configure OTC processes in S/4HANA and should have knowledge of simplification in SD module

• Deep knowledge of SD Enterprise structure, Business partner, Pricing procedures, ATP, delivery, PGI and scenarios like 3rd party Sales, Intercompany, Stock Transfer, Consignment Sales, Contracts, Agreements, Service orders, Returns, Debit, credit process and logistics execution
• Experience with European localization will be plus
• Setup and configuration experience with Italian taxation, localization will be added advantage
• Deep knowledge of SAP O2C
• Strong integration knowledge with SAP LO-VC, MM, WM/EWM, IM, PP & FICO modules
• Ability to write RICEFW specification for custom development. Experience on IDOC and third-party interfaces are also important
• Ability to lead OTC value stream in global implementation.
• Design, configuration, creating test cases for sales & distribution module
• Responsible primarily for successful implementation of SAP, including providing functional expertise, guidance, presentation, and training on SAP products to clients
• Acts as OTC consultant with client for troubleshooting, investigates, analyses, and solves software problems and maps client business requirements, processes and objectives; develops necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs
• Candidate should assist with bug fixes including documentation, root cause investigation, configuration, and unit testing of bugs as requested
• Candidate will provide SAP functional support during end user training including data and transactional setup and general support to the trainers during course execution
• Candidate will provide support to Global IT to resolve incidents and change requests during Hypercare
• Candidate will provide support to Business End users on execution of SAP transactions during Hypercare

Qualifications:

• BS degree with 10 years of experience in Supply Chain and Information technology
• Minimum 8 to 10 years of SAP SD configuration experience
• Strong understanding of taxation and pricing
• Business knowledge and process design skills
• Ability to analyze problems and provide clear recommendations
• Strong organizational skills
• Able to collaborate with clients and have a strong desire to excel
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Good interpersonal skills
• Must be able to work independently as well as a team player and can manage own workload
• Able to Multi-task and work under tight deadlines
• Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision
• Must be an effective problem solver
• Reading and understanding of ABAP code; not desired
