Position OverviewWe are currently seeking an experienced Chiller Technician to join the fast-growing R&W Mechanical Team. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude and strong problem-solving skills, as well as a high level of customer service.

JOB RESPONSIBILITES
- Perform routine, and unscheduled, maintenance and repair of industrial mechanical systems including air cooled chillers, centrifugal chillers, pumps, cooling towers, air handler units, valves, fan coil units, variable air volume systems, etc
- Diagnose and repair of machine and equipment defects including electronic, mechanical, and electrical components related to these systems
- Conduct preventive maintenance, repair, installation, general servicing, and troubleshooting of mechanical HVAC systems
- Responsible for high levels of customer satisfaction through direct, on-site, customer interface
- Mentor peers on mechanical HVAC installation & service activities
- Properly completes required project and service documentation
- Service, troubleshoot, and repair commercial/industrial Chiller and Refrigeration Equipment
- Inspect, Service, Repair, and Modify compressors, evaporators, condensers, pumps, expansion valves, controls
- Perform routine preventative maintenance
- Diagnose, repair, and replace defective parts in units
- Comfortable and knowledgeable in electrical including electrical components, timers, contactors, relays
- Follow and read blueprints, specifications, wiring diagrams, and instructions

Qualifications
- 5 years of chiller experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate, or learn to operate, all necessary tools and equipment
- Available to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as needed
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Sufficient physical agility to work in awkward places and from ladders or scaffolding as required by particular jobs
- Physical ability to endure high and low outside temperatures
- Valid driver's license
- Active EPA certificate
