Role : Data Center Network Engineer
Location: Denver CO
Contract: Long term
Passport is mandatory
Job Description:
- Review architectural requirements and provide analysis for network and services specifications, network design, network partitioning, and network architecture definition
- Engineer, plan, and implement complex network configurations for regional and national data centers supporting a service provider network
- Effectively communicate engineering solutions through detailed high- and low-level diagrams and Engineering Design Packages
- Provide advanced expertise in the development of network test, validation, and integration plans on projects and assurance of network integrity
- Work independently with vendors to understand, test, and drive new innovative features
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Ideal Senior Network Engineer candidates have:
- Bachelor s degree in electrical/computer Engineering preferred
- 5 or more years of professional experience in large enterprise or carrier space
- 3 or more years of experience with data center networking
- Professional networking certifications a plus CCNA/CCNP/CCIE or equivalent
- Public cloud certifications a plus advanced networking, cloud network engineer, or equivalent
Successful Senior Network Engineer candidates have extensive knowledge in:
- Data center networking
- BGP, IS-IS, VRFs and QoS
- MPLS and/or segment routing (SR-MPLS, SRv6)
- Connectivity to high-speed public Internet facilities
- Highly available network architectures, failover, and redundant configurations
- Software-defined networking (design and traffic engineering)
- Network configuration automation (scripting with Perl, Python, Bash)
