Job Title: Golang Developer

Job Summary:

The Golang Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable applications using Go. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, a passion for writing clean and efficient code, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and deploy scalable and high-performance applications using Golang.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with team members.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing software to improve performance and reliability.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of new features and applications.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Golang and related technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve existing systems.
• Work in an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 3 years of experience in software development, with at least 1-2 years of experience working with Golang.
• Strong understanding of Go language fundamentals, including memory management, concurrency, and error handling.
• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, and key-value stores.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure) and their services.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and working in a fast-paced development environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with microservices architecture and design.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies and frameworks.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools and practices.
