Job Title - QA Test Lead

Job Summary: The QA Test Lead will be responsible for leading the quality assurance efforts within the project team. This includes designing, implementing, and executing testing strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automated testing, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers and testers.
- Assign tasks and manage workload to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
Test Strategy and Planning:
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
- Define testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
Test Execution and Reporting:
- Oversee the execution of manual and automated tests.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
- Provide regular updates on test progress, quality metrics, and potential risks to stakeholders.
Automation and Continuous Improvement:
- Implement and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.
- Continuously improve testing processes and practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in QA.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of testing activities.
- Facilitate communication between the QA team and other departments.
- Provide training and support to team members on QA best practices and tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of [X] years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 10 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proficiency in both manual and automated testing.
- Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
