Job Title: ServiceNow Developer
Location: Columbia, SC
Contract: W2 Only
Duration: 12 Months
Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated ServiceNow Developer to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions that meet the needs of our clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality ServiceNow applications and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and configure ServiceNow applications and modules.
- Customize ServiceNow applications and facilitate the rollout of new applications and modules.
- Develop workflows, business rules, and scripts to automate processes.
- Implement ServiceNow solutions based on client requirements.
- Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems and applications.
- Ensure data consistency and integrity across integrated systems.
- Customize ServiceNow forms, fields, and UI components.
- Configure ServiceNow security, including user roles, groups, and access controls.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for ServiceNow configurations and customizations.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Collaborate with other developers, administrators, and business analysts.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ServiceNow-related issues.
- Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features, functionalities, and best practices.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 12 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and components.
- Experience with ServiceNow development tools, including Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Service Portal.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or other relevant certifications.
- Experience with ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, or other ServiceNow modules.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and integrations.
- Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
