RaceTrac Company OverviewJob Description:
The Brand Marketing Specialist is a detail oriented individual who will leverage customer insights and collaborate closely with marketing and sales to drive customer engagement and retention, ensuring continued education and success throughout the customer lifecycle. In this role, you will bring a creative approach to communicating with customers and will need a strong analytical mindset. This role is helping to create a stronger brand and improve the consumer experience. Success in this role will be defined by the ability to generate business insights quickly and easily and to ultimately drive the annual business objectives of the Marketing & Sales organization.
ResponsibilitiesB2B Program Management (40%)
  • Own the management and improvement of Gulf programs in support of an exceptional consumer experience and increased brand value. Programs include: Mystery Shop, Quarterly Station Signage, Brand Building, GasBuddy and Preferred Vendor programs
  • Manage billing, tracking and analysis for programs
  • Evaluate program and performance metrics to provide monthly reports of actionable items, trends in the industry, and competitor analysis
  • Collaborate with marketing team to ensure programs support brand strategy and objectives
  • Manage Gulf's customer portal to ensure users have login access, up-to-date training tools, and accessibility to programs
  • Complete various ad hoc projects and provide general assistance to the marketing and sales teams. Tasks can include mailings, event planning, etc.
B2B Customer Insights/Analytics (30%)
  • Deep-dive into marketing program performance to provide bi-annual reporting for B2B customer business reviews in support of sales team, effectively explaining the story behind the data and making recommendations based on data insights
  • Establish and provide monthly marketing performance management and insights in support of annual department goals
  • Build trust with customers and identify opportunities to improve business outcomes
Loyalty Support (20%)
  • Review and analyze customer loyalty data, market research and results to increase sales/transactions
  • Work with B2B customers to create customized loyalty offers, identify business goals, and track KPIs and performance insights
Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of marketing experience
  • B.A./B.S. degree required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, functions, charting, etc.), PowerPoint (graphic presentations, selling stories, etc.)
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Commitment to data quality and high standard for accuracy
  • Solid understanding of B2B marketing strategy and channels
  • Independent, motivated and excited to roll-up your sleeves
