Job Title: Insectary Lab Technician

Required Education

• Bachelors or Associates degree (science related field preferred)

Technology Proficiencies:

• None required – will be trained on the job.

Hours:

• 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday

• 30 to 40 hours/week

• Video/Phone Interview. Probably just one.

Job Description:

• Responsible for the execution of housefly maintenance schedule. This includes overseeing the housefly development from egg to adult and recording colony data.

• Responsible for cleaning laboratory equipment, work area and dishes, re-stocking of supplies, and other miscellaneous duties.

• Help support product testing areas as the need arises.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $27.87 per hour
