Job Title: Project Manager II
Location: East Hanover NJ
Duration: 12 months

The candidate for this role will be primarily working onsite in East Hanover, with some hybrid flexibility. They need to be able to come in physically multiple days each week.
Description:
Project Manager / Description - 30% work at office. Must be local, able to be in East Hanover office for required activities.
The Project Manager (PM) will work with cross-functional Team to complete projects on time and within budget. Her/his responsibilities will include project governance, funding, timeline development, and the complete project readiness to go live.
The PM serves as a lead for commercialization projects that result in a new or changing product and/or package. This involves the management of the total project timeline for on-time delivery within cost and quality parameters. The PM is responsible for running project meetings with cross-functional team members (from Marketing, Sales, Manufacturing, Research & Development, Quality, Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain), soliciting updates, capturing notes, assigning clear ownership of follow-ups required and rallying the team to solutions that will enable project to be delivered in scope and on-time. She/he will serve as the Ideas to Market (I2M) expert guiding Teams through the various stages of development from idea generation to on-shelf execution. The PM will leverage their understanding of the big picture as well as the details of projects to effectively negotiate and influence organizational leadership.
Responsibilities: Manage product development through commercialization using I2M process. Lead cross-functional Team meetings. Help Team to identify risks, develop and execute mitigation plans, clearly understand trade-offs and escalate concerns as needed. Manage timelines for new product launches and productivity initiatives. Support the business delivery of overall financial targets.
Qualifications: B.S. degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Chemistry, Food Science or related field of study,
3 years of experience in a role focused on new product launches (either project management, Research & Development or Manufacturing), attention to detail, ability to deal with complexity, strong interpersonal, written & verbal communication skills, an understanding of supply chain operational management to include cost of goods sold, capacity, logistics, planning, capital, safety and quality.?
