Job Details
Title: Laboratory Technician
Location: : Boston, MA 02127
Duration: 06 Months
Description
Position is 1st Shift 7-3 or 8-4 EST & 40/hr a week. Cat-1 positions no interview.
Any Laboratory exp is considered. They will train the candidates.
Measuring in lab different small & dedicated products
Mechanical lab experience is a huge plus.
1-3 lab experience. University research experience is also considered.
Must haves:
handling delicate small parts
Navigating around PC & entering data
Working on test method instrumentation
HS Diploma at a minimum and depending on specific role a degree or advance degree may be required. Requires 1 to 3
years of experience. Requires some general laboratory skills (use of balances, gram and ounce conversion, yield
accounting, equipment operation) or special skills taught by Client. With moderate instruction, must be able to perform
routine testing and work with specific instrumentation (i.e. hair combing tests, particle size analysis, etc.). Receiving,
labeling and safely storing samples to be tested. Determining and performing tests needed for the analysis and reports.
Recording tests and analyses and then reporting the results. Discussing and answering any questions regarding the results.
Organizing and storing samples in accordance with all safety and other requirements to ensure the safety of personnel and
integrity of the sample. Cleaning and maintaining lab equipment, including recalibration of equipment. Maintaining
equipment records and daily work logs. Staying current on technical and scientific advances in their field. May require
substantial independent judgment.
