Title: Chemist - QC Analystical

Duration: 18 months contract

Location: Lewisville, TX 75067

Salary range: $28.00 - $34.50 /hr on W2

Description:

• Candidate must be local in office 5 days per week M-F and flexible to work day and night shift.
• Initially this will be five days a week after about three months then 4 days a week 8:30am to 5:30pm for three months then 7pm -5:30am when on night shift.
• Position will turn into night shift 6PM-6AM 3 days a week.
• 2 years’ experience
• In support of release testing of raw materials, bulk, finished products, and contract manufactured items.
• This position directly supports the business by providing Quality products to HER. The Quality Control Analytical team perform the following key functions:
• 1) Perform analytical tests utilizing chromatography, spectroscopy, wet chemistry analysis, and other known tests according to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP). Provides disposition of commercial products to support business demands.
• Prepares records necessary to track “hold” items. Conduct Out of Specification investigations on raw materials, bulk, finished goods, and contract manufactured products.
• Manages raw material program and conduct testing on process water, swabs, and method transfer samples.
