Our client, a leader in the food industry, is seeking a Quality Control Chemist to join their team. As a Quality Control Chemist, you will be part of the Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) Department supporting the Research Team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, effective communication, and attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Quality Control Chemist
Location: Plymouth, MN
Pay Range: $23-28/hr (based on experience)
What's the Job?

• Provide support to research scientists in the completion of research projects or activities, including analytical method validation.
• Conduct routine sample analysis and experiments, organizing and communicating results.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and handle sample requests.
• Ensure corporate EHS and Food Safety compliance.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and work independently when required.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Food Science, or related scientific fields.
• Minimum 2 years of chemistry lab experience (higher education can substitute experience), including experience with standard chemistry lab glassware and techniques.
• Effective communication skills (written, verbal, and listening).
• Effective organizational skills and attention to detail.
