What We Look For...

We are looking for a rockstar Catering Manager to represent the hotel to potential clients, booking business for social groups needing catering and/or guest rooms.

The Key Responsibilities:

• Maximize revenue by selling meeting space and food and beverage revenues with all facets of the hotel within assigned market segments, using effective written and oral communication.
• Coordinate and facilitate group catering.
• Sell local Catering Service including meeting and banquet facilities.
• Coordinate paperwork and public relations for all events scheduled in public space and group rooms.
• Created detailed events for groups (Banquet Event Order).
• Service groups: meet and greet client, make sure event goes smoothly, schedule debrief meeting after event.
• Ensure that all contractual commitments made by Room and Catering Sales Managers are detailed and communicated in a timely manner to the various operating departments
• Process reports weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually.

The Model Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED is required
• Bachelors or higher graduate degree preferred
• 3 years of Catering experience
• 1 year managerial experience
• 5 years hotel/hospitality experience
