Radisson Lackawanna Station is Hiring a Banquet/Event Server Near Scranton, PA

The Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel is seeking part-time experienced energetic servers to join our banquet staff. Qualified candidates must be professional, motivated and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining an upbeat attitude. We are looking for someone with previous banquet serving experience to ensure a positive guest experience and someone that is also willing to learn and grow.

Experience, Skills and Knowledge
Hotel Banquet/Catering experience preferred
Superior communication skills.
Ability to transport up to 50lbs. through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout the shift and stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines

Banquet Server Job Overview:

The purpose of this position is to interact with our guests and ensure they have a great experience when dining and meeting.

Banquet Servers are responsible for positive guest interactions while serving guests in a friendly and efficient manner. At all times, servers are expected to be attentive to our guest needs and making them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed.

Banquet Servers will follow through with the proper and timely set-up and execution of banquet events. Set up includes tables, chairs, stages, dance floors and audiovisual equipment.

Maintain a high degree of professionalism. Maintain all equipment and facilities in an organized, clean, safe environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $11.00 per hour

Shift:

  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Night shift

Weekly day range:

  • Every weekend
  • Monday to Friday
  • Rotating weekends
  • Weekends as needed
  • Weekends only

Experience:

  • Serving: 1 year (Required)
  • Banquet experience: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

  • RAMP certificate (Required)
