One of the worlds leading market makers firms has an exciting opportunity open for a Senior Network Engineer. Your main responsibility is to ensure the Network performs well under all trading conditions, while having the ability to solve problems, pick the right tool and approach for the job in hand. This role comes with a huge amount of responsibility and requires someone who is motivated and driven to delivering the best results possible.

Your role;

• Making sure the trading systems perform well under all market conditions.
• Responsible for designing, maintaining, and improving the networks
• You will interact with the trading and business departments to understand their needs and come up with proposals for improvements
• Interaction and coordination with external parties and, where needed, travel to our datacenters around the globe.

What you need:

• You’ve got strong knowledge of the fundamentals of networking (Multicast, BGP, OSPF) as well as recent development in networking technology and techniques
• Experience working with scripting and automation tools (Puppet, Python, Docker and Ansible)
• Experience using Linux
• You prefer removing complexity over adding it.
