RADWELL is Hiring a Warehouse Receiving Manager Near Miami, FL

JOB SUMMARY

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

The Warehouse Receiving Manager will be responsible for coordination and function of all “back-end” warehouse processes including shipping, receiving, and warehousing.

Shipping:

Warehouse Receiving Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily outbound shipments of all customer orders for the repair, surplus, and distribution orders. The Warehouse Receiving Manager must ensure that Radwell’s shipping processes are followed precisely to ensure customer satisfaction. These processes include, proper packing according to Radwell procedures, proper inclusion of marketing materials, and proper use of shipping software.

Warehouse Receiving Manager will constantly seek to improve Radwell’s processes to ensure maximum efficiency and customer protection.

Receiving:

Warehouse Receiving Manager will be responsible for all involvement touching and concerning receiving. Receiving is a two-prong process by which all products destined for customers pass through. New product is taken from vendor shipments and allocated to the proper customer order through a reconciliation process developed by Radwell. Additionally, the Operating manager will receive high-tech repairs and ensure the repairs are distributed to the appropriate technicians.

Surplus receiving is the lifeblood of Radwell’s surplus sales. Radwell International is one of, if not the largest, supplier of surplus goods in the world. Our massive inventory is fueled by millions of dollars of surplus goods that flow through its receiving department. The receiving department must be proficient in the product coding systems applied by a large number of manufacturers including, but not limited to:

  • Allen Bradley,
  • Siemens,
  • Omron,
  • Banner,
  • Toshiba,
  • Texas Instruments,
  • Control Technologies (CTI)
  • Westinghouse
  • Square D,
  • Telemecanique,
  • Modicon,
  • Cutler Hammer,
  • Honeywell,
  • Microswitch,
  • Indramat,
  • ABB,
  • Emerson,
  • Eagle Signal,
  • Veeder Root,
  • Eurotherm,
  • Johnson Controls,
  • Sick,
  • Reliance,
  • Baldor,
  • Crouse Hinds

These manufacturers are only a small sample of the breadth of product Radwell receives. The manager must be able to:

(1) Research the manufacturers’ product coding

(2) Assign the code product number to a particular unit

(3) Input the product into Radwell’s custom data collection system to be marketed.

The products received will include:

  • assembly racks,
  • processors,
  • servo motors,
  • AC Drives,
  • DC Drives,
  • CPU’s,
  • sensing devices,
  • photoelectric devices,
  • light curtains,
  • safety switches,
  • contact blocks,
  • relays,
  • timers,
  • counters,
  • cables,
  • transistors,
  • potentiometers
  • human/machine interface modules
  • programmable logic controllers
  • input/output modules
  • capacitors,
  • thyristors, and
  • printed circuit boards.

In addition to determining the proper part number, the receiving manager must be able to accurately record the originating vendor, the condition, and the acquisition date, and track the flow of the product from receipt through sale in Radwell’s custom data collection system.

The condition of each unit shall be determined by the receiving staff at the direction and under the supervision of the Operating Manager. The unit condition is an extremely important part of the receiving process, affecting the price at which Radwell will advertise. The Operating Manager must have the technical knowledge to understand the difference between new and used units. Said knowledge requires the manager to look beyond mere cosmetic differences and apply Radwell’s processes to ensure proper classification.

The Operating manager must ensure all employees are accurately utilizing Radwell’s custom software and properly assigning part numbers to a unit intended for sale.

The Operating manager is responsible for running reports on the purchase and receipt of different units in order to ensure adequate inventory.

The Operating manager is responsible for constantly improving the Receiving processes
