We are seeking a skilled Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from beginning to end. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, blueprint reading, contract management and good communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule
- Coordinate with inspectors, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Review and interpret project plans, contracts and standard specifications
- Implement and enforce safety protocols on the job site
- Conduct daily walk-throughs to ensure quality control
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
- Keep detailed records of construction progress
- Approve Purchase Orders for work performed by subcontractors and supplies
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management or related field preferred, but not required
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role
- Proficient in blueprint reading and construction management software (Builder MT)
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Valid driver's license
