As an electrical engineer at Rainmaker, you will work with Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and novel in-situ measurement technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for the development and optimization of cutting-edge UAS platforms and innovative sensing applications.

• Develop novel sensing paradigms and lead the electrical integration of our UAS
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including avionics, controls, and software engineers, to ensure seamless system integration
• Oversee prototype fabrication, testing, and iterative design improvements
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety, regulatory, and industry standards
• Document design processes, test results, and performance data
• Provide technical expertise and support to the broader engineering team

• Proficiency in PCB design software (Altium, KiCad, etc.)
• Experience in prototyping, testing, and validating engineering designs
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate technical information effectively
• Knowledge of relevant safety standards and regulatory requirements for UAS operations
• Familiarity with PCB manufacturing
