We are seeking a motivated Construction Project Coordinator to join our client's team. The Project Coordinator will play a key role in supporting project managers and ensuring the successful execution of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction project management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and management of construction projects from initiation to completion.
• Create and maintain project schedules, plans, and documentation.
• Monitor project progress, timelines, and milestones.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Track project expenses and help manage project budgets.
• Prepare and distribute project status reports and updates to stakeholders.
• Assist in the resolution of issues and challenges that arise during construction projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support the project team with administrative tasks and documentation management.
• Collaborate effectively with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Project Coordinator at a General Contractor doing commercial construction.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and techniques.
• Proficiency in project management software/tools (e.g., Primavera, Procore, Microsoft Project).
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when necessary.
• Knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices.
• PMP certification or other relevant certifications (preferred but not required).
