Your Role at Raising Canes:
The Real Estate Manager role is responsible for working closely with FP&A, operations, legal and lease administration to provide real estate management support to our existing restaurant portfolio. They will leverage a proficient understanding of leases, restaurant economics, fair market value, and negotiating to optimize our occupancy costs for existing restaurants.

Your Impact and Responsibilities:
Proactively identifies upcoming lease expirations and initiates renewal discussions Reviews lease terms, conditions, and market activity to ensure best possible results during the renewal process Coordinates with internal teams to gather necessary documentation for lease renewals Conducts negotiations with landlords to secure favorable lease terms, including rental rates, lease duration, and any necessary lease amendments Works with broker network to stay informed about local real estate market trends, rental rates, and market conditions to guide lease renewal negotiations Produces Fair Market Analysis working with brokers Maintains accurate records of lease renewal negotiations, correspondence, and agreements Collaborates with legal teams, as necessary, to ensure compliance with legal standards Generates regular reports and analysis on lease renewal statuses, upcoming expirations, and success rates Provides insights and recommendations to senior management based on data analysis and market trends

Requirements for Success: 5 years of experience in corporate real estate Experience in lease renewal and portfolio management with multi-unit restaurant or retail operator Exemplary verbal and written language and grammatical skills, including the ability to interpret and abstract complex lease documents, and negotiate final lease terms with landlords and their attorneys Bachelors degree in business or related field required Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple and changing priorities Self-driven, flexible, and highly energetic with strong written and verbal communication skills Able to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaboratively Microsoft Proficient: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word Able to work at the Dallas Restaurant Support Office located in Plano, TX
