Pay Details:

For Local Candidates pay rate: $58 to $68/hr (If your permanent address is within 50 miles from the facility)

For Travelers/Stipend Candidates (If your permanent address is outside the 50 mile radius from the facility):
Blended Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $63.00
Blended Weekly Gross Pay Rate: $2,268.00
Minimum Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $30.73
Min. W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable): $1,016.28
Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,161.72

Pay Rate on 1099 to the Candidate: $68.00
Weekly 1099 Traveler Pay Rate: $2,448.00

Position Summary:

The Perioperative Registered Nurse (RN OR) at our client's facility is responsible for providing perioperative nursing care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients undergoing surgical procedures. This role encompasses utilizing the nursing process to deliver efficient, high-quality care while ensuring cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform perioperative nursing assessments, develop care plans, and implement nursing interventions.
• Competently circulate for simple to complex surgical procedures across all age groups.
• Scrub into procedures as needed and oversee instrument and equipment set-up based on surgeon preferences.
• Anticipate surgical team needs and maintain sterile field integrity throughout procedures.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Orthopedics, General, Endo Vascular, and Neurosurgical procedures.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the State of Texas.
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NIHSS certification.
• Minimum of two years of Operating Room experience required.
• Strong experience and proficiency in Orthopedics, General, Endo Vascular, and Neurosurgery.

Additional Skills:

• Thorough understanding of surgical procedures and equipment.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
