Pay Details:

For Local Candidates pay rate: $57 to $65/hr (If your permanent address is within 50 miles from the facility)

For Travelers/Stipend Candidates (If your permanent address is outside the 50 mile radius from the facility):
Blended Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $60.00
Blended Weekly Gross Pay Rate: $2,160.00
Minimum Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $27.73
Min. W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable): $998.28
Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,161.72

For Traveller 1099 Candidates:
Pay Rate on 1099 to the Candidate: $65.00
Weekly 1099 Traveler Pay Rate: $2,340.00

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver exceptional patient care by utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. This role involves effective interaction with patients, their families, and other health team members while upholding professional nursing standards.

Essential Functions:

• Apply the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, as observed by clients and staff.
• Educate patients and their families with timely health information and provide written materials as needed.
• Deliver direct patient care following established procedures, policies, and standards.
• Support patients, family members, and clients with empathy, respecting their confidentiality and privacy while communicating courteously.
• Assist in orienting and training new employees.
• Collaborate with other staff members to support their duties and fill open shifts as needed.
• Take initiative for cross-functional training to ensure seamless patient care.
• Exercise sound judgment in addressing any concerns or questionable findings.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Basic computer skills.
• Strong understanding of the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary for age-specific patient needs.

Information Management:

• Maintain confidentiality and security of all information and data related to the position.

Risk Management/Quality Management/Safety:

• Actively participate in risk management, quality management, and safety activities and investigations.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with an Associate Degree or Diploma.
• Work Experience: At least one year of nursing experience, preferably in an emergency or intensive care setting.
• License: Current New Mexico RN License or RN License with Multistate Compact privileges.
• Certification: BLS required. ACLS, PALS, and NRP required or within 90 days of employment. TNCC required or within one year of employment. ENPC preferred.
