Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med/Surg/Tele Floor team. Our floor comprises three 20-bed units, and we require a candidate with recent experience in Epic, as well as a solid background in medical and surgical nursing. The ideal candidate will be able to test out of Epic during orientation and must be comfortable floating to other med/surg and non-med/surg units as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care on the Med/Surg/Tele Floor, which includes three 20-bed units.
• Demonstrate recent Epic experience and complete Epic testing during orientation.
• Deliver high-quality care to patients with medical and surgical needs, including those in PCU/Progressive Care settings.
• Float to other med/surg and non-med/surg units as required.
• Prepare for and participate in medication and dysrhythmia testing on the first day.
• Handle cases involving COVID patients, as certain areas accept a limited number of COVID cases.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent medical/surgical nursing experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Basic knowledge of dysrhythmia.
• Preferred experience in PCU/Progressive Care.
• Willingness to float to various units as needed.

• This position is classified as safety-sensitive under the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Use and Patient Protection Act (OMMA). Candidates must be aware that the employer reserves the right to refuse employment or take disciplinary action based on drug testing results, even if they have a valid medical marijuana license.
