Position Summary:
- Provides critical intensive care to Medical, Surgical, and Cardiac patient population
Provides therapies included but not limited to: Administration of vasoactive drugs, respiratory/ventilator support, management of cardiac status with continuous cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring, parenteral and enteral nutritional support, temporary transvenous pacing, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump Therapy, thrombolytic therapy, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), peritoneal dialysis, and acute hemodialysis performed by a hemodialysis nurse. - Demonstrates professional and personal development.
- Delivers direct patient care appropriate to the age of the patient served including adult and geriatric patients.
- Plans nursing care.
- Performs nursing care.
- Evaluates the assessment, planning and intervention process.
Minimum Education:
Current registered nurse or compact licensure.
