SM Specialty : Primary Care Schedule : Monday Friday 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm Location : Buckles Ct North Ste . Gahanna, OH Primary Responsibilities : Greet patient when entering the practice Obtain accurate and updated patient information, such as name, address, insurance information Perform insurance verification on the date of service File and maintain medical records Confirms and schedule appointments Answer telephone calls promptly and courteously Collects co-pays or outstanding balances on the date of service Perform referral documentation promptly Performs other duties as assigned What are the reasons to consider working for UnitedHealth Group?

Required Qualifications : High School Diploma / GED (or higher) 6 months of healthcare or customer service-related experience Preferred Qualifications : Experience working in medical front office position performing duties such as scheduling appointments, checking patients in / out, insurance verification, collecting co-pays and maintaining medical records Knowledge of EMR (Electronic Medical Records) software Proficient in typing, 50-60 wpm and Microsoft Office Previous experience and knowledge with medical terminology At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
