POSITION: Accounts Payable Clerk

JOBSUMMARY

We are looking for anorganized, efficient Accounting Clerk with an eye for detail and high level of accuracy.Accounting Clerks can expect to handle communications with vendors, clients,internal departments. You should be professional and courteous with strongcomputer skills. To succeed as an Accounting Clerk, you should be a skilledmulti-tasker with excellent time management, computer, and communicationskills. Candidates should understand and abide by all accounting procedures andprinciples and have a commitment to behaving ethically in the workplace. Theideal candidate is looking for placement with a company in which they will growwith and advance in their skills.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

·Performing basicoffice tasks, including answering phones, responding to emails, processingmail, filing, etc

·Collectingdocumentation from various sources

·Assessing,organizing, and coding invoices

·Scanning filesregularly to ensure their correct positions and to search for missing records

·Maintaining adatabase, ensuring that records are complete and current

·Respondingappropriately to a vendor and internal requests

·Working with a staffaccountants and others to resolve account issues when necessary

·Handlingcommunication with clients and vendors via phone and email

·Receiving,processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• High-school graduate or equivalent and one year of work-related experience
• Ethical behavior when dealing with sensitive financial information
• Willingness to comply with all company, local, state, and federal financial regulations

REQUIRED SKILLS

·Great time management and organization skills

·Keen attention to detail

·Aptitude for math

·Proficiency with computers
