Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Support Technician with CPO license or willingness to get one, to join our team. As a Maintenance Support Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities. Your expertise in mechanical and electrical systems will be crucial in performing repairs, troubleshooting issues, and conducting preventive maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Conduct minor repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement effective solutions
- Supervise and coordinate external contractors for specialized repairs or installations
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
- Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment
- Assist in the development of preventive maintenance schedules
Desired Skills:
- Strong knowledge of facilities maintenance practices and procedures
- Proficiency in mechanical systems, including the ability to weld and perform basic fabrication tasks
- Electrical knowledge, including the ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and work with logic controllers
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities
