Title: Assistant Property Manager - Brookhaven, MS

Rampart Multi-Family a top leader in the property management business currently has an opening for an Assistant Property Manager for a Multi-Family Complex.

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Maintain accurate client records and updates on a daily basis all rents deposits and application fees received from clients. Issue appropriate notices when necessary (e.g. late payments, evictions notices, returned memos).
  • Deposits all receipts prior to bank close each day.
  • Physically inspects community when on the grounds.
  • Inspects move-outs and vacancies when requested.
  • Must be knowledgeable of all phases of leasing and client retention. Works with lease renewals each month.
  • Answers and handles incoming phone calls from prospective new clients and current clients.
  • Maintains awareness of local market conditions and trends. Contributes idea to Site Manager for marketing community and improving client satisfaction.
  • Updates reports concerning move-out notices, activity, etc. on a daily basis and provides information to the Site Manager

Qualifications:

  • Minimum one year of experience in multi-family property management, preferred.
  • Previous apartment leasing / retail sales experience
  • High school education or equivalent, required
  • Must have Microsoft (Word, Excel, Outlook, & PowerPoint) experience.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Tax Credit Preferred
  • HUD Preferred
