Marketing and Events Coordinator

Rampart Products is a manufacturer of hermetic and ruggedized interconnects for multiple applications in different industries like Oil and gas, underwater, Mil/Aero, Space, Medical, Pipeline Inspection, and Nuclear. While we are based in Houston, TX, in a 42,000 sq. ft location, we have customers spread throughout the world and nine distributors. We are seeking a passionate Marketing and Events Coordinator to keep our pace and help us to become the leading manufacturer of electrical interconnects.

You will be responsible for industry trade shows, internal events, internal marketing communications, digital marketing, and some graphic design. You will work in cooperation with the Marketing Specialist and the sales team.

This is a full-time in-the-office position, Monday to Friday, 8-5.

Job Functions

· Organize and coordinate trade shows, conferences, workshops, and internal events with the cooperation of the sales team and other internal members

· Make travel arrangements and registrations for the staff attending the events

· Collaborate in the development and implementation of events and digital marketing strategy

· Organize logistics and shipping for the events

· Complete the follow-up of the events (feedback, leads)

· Conduct meetings with the team to discuss event planning and feedback (brief and debrief)

· Attend key industry trade shows as assigned by the management (travel: up to 10%)

· Write content for website, newsletters, event invitations

· Organize and host internal webinars

· Keep inventory of the giveaways and marketing materials

· Create business cards using the company's template, update the catalog and website

Job Requirements

· BS/BA in marketing/communications or similar

· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

· Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)

· Flexibility, can-do positive attitude, hands-on

· Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

· Detail-oriented

· Must be able to reach and lift large objects of up to 50lbs
