Responsibilities & Duties:

Primary:

• Communicate directly with customers to process returning product and create returns paperwork to capture customer signature
• Verify customer’s reason for return, inspect, process, receive product back into inventory, and put away
• Work with Returns Supervisor to determine if product should be received and put back into inventory, returned to Vendor, or disposed of using proper coding
• Manually sort and write up return and then enter and complete return through Rampart’s computer system
• Operate in accordance with Rampart’s established systems, policies and procedures
• Ensure a safe and clean work environment by complying with Rampart’s safety program
• Monitor and keep up to date Rampart’s Rental Tool Program
• Reach out and communicate with Rampart’s vendors in regards to returning items Rampart does not stock and any warranties

As Required:

• Aid other departments in the warehouse
• Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor

Education, Skills, Training, & Experience Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1-2 years previous warehouse experience
• Forklift experience preferred
• Product knowledge to include basic product code and how to identify products without labels or barcodes
• Able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
• Knowledge of Eclipse a plus 

Physical Requirements:

• Continuously (67-100% of the day) will be required to talk, write, repetitively use hands, arms, and legs, stand, walk, bend over, push or pull, grasp, and carry, move or lift 1-50lbs
• Frequently (34-66% of the day) will be required to reach overhead, crouch, or kneel
• Occasionally (1-33% of the day) will be required to sit, crawl, climb, balance, and carry, move, or lift 51-100 lbs
