You will be joining a high-performance team working with cutting-edge industry-leading technology. If you like the challenge of working with the latest in technology and systems processing billions of data-points per day, you might be a good fit. At Rand McNally we provide end to end solutions in fleet management technologies, from installer hardware through to frontend data analytics displays. Our system processes terabytes of data each month from tens of thousands of devices across the world in an event driven backend architecture. You will be leading application architecture, setting application design and development standards, and working with team members to ensure those standards are met. Your technical leadership will help set the foundation for the future of the SaaS offerings at Rand McNally. Required Experience: Reviewing, designing, and evolving application architecture in an AWS environment. Designing and building modern and scalable web applications. Remaining up to date with industry standards in cloud-native application design and scaling methodologies. Leading software engineering teams. Collaborating across a cross-functional organization. Solving highly complex problems in a fast-paced environment. Documenting architectural designs and standards. Working with Node.js applications.
