Job Details
Looking for a video operations specialist - who must have experience with streaming and media technologies and be good with weekend work/ flexible working hours. 100% Remote.
What you bring to the team:
You have -
- Experience in live TV and/or streaming operations roles
- Knowledge of HLS and DASH
- Worked with Content Management Systems (CMS)
- Understanding of live streaming workflows, from sourcing, processing, delivering and engaging from the live event origin all the way to end users
- Ability to multitask
- strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- You might also have:
- Video engineering experience a plus
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, media or similar fields preferred
- Understanding of various multimedia transport protocols such as: RTP, RTMP, SRT, UDP, Zixi
- Experience with video container formats, transmuting and streaming protocols (DASH/HLS)
- Experience monitoring and managing cloud based and in-house encoding software and abr monitoring appliances
- Experience with Digital Rights Management Systems (DRM), including PlayReady, Wide vine & Fair Play
- What is the TOP Critical Skills or Must Haves skills a candidate should have on their resume in order to be considered?
- Experience in live TV and/or streaming operations roles

- all aspects of News and Sports Digital streaming channels.
- live streaming events and VOD distribution.
- manage dashboards related to video service and delivery.
- monitor on demand and live streaming assets, and prioritize any issues.
- troubleshooting
- streaming and live vod streaming issues as they arise,
- level 1 analysis and escalating or solving
