Biorepository Technician in Leesburg, VA
Contract role through the end of 2024
Monday through Friday, 8 am – 5 pmOur clientWe offer a full range of clinical trial services that cover every step from the discovery to the delivery. Our portfolio of customer kitting, equipment, and ancillary solutions, and our biorepository and archiving services stand at the ready - to serve any trial, or any size, anywhere in the world.
The PositionA technician or biorepository is responsible for the inventory, processing, and maintenance of research material, which may include but is not limited to specimens, test articles, temp-critical items, paper records, or magnetic media. Performs a variety of biorepository functions and should develop a sense of responsibility toward their duties to include the following:
Completion of the orientation program with: And understanding of our work and how it must be completed in compliance with applicable US and OECD regulations and our SOP, and an understanding of Chemical Safety and the proper use of safety equipment.
- The technician will have a station to bring in materials or files to check and scan into the database
- Sills required: Attention to detail, critical thinking, computer literacy (Excel specifically)
- PPE provided onsite: lab coat, glasses, gloves
