Our client is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to take command of product line, leading and mentoring a dedicated team of professionals, driving new product research and development, optimizing design for manufacturing, and ensuring the successful lifecycle management of products.

responsibilities:

Take command of the product line as a high-level Mechanical Engineer, pioneering the field and mentoring a dedicated team of professionals, including engineers and specialized technicians.

Lead new product research and development projects, focusing on optimizing design for manufacturing and processing.

Own the entire lifecycle of products from conceptualization to market release and beyond.

Utilize expert knowledge to integrate innovative new features, assess the competition, resolve complex production issues, develop expectations, and ensure adherence to standards across multiple production departments.

Drive process refinement and cost reduction efforts, analyze ROI for projects, and use project management skills to lead mid-sized projects to successful completion.

Excel in conveying complex technical concepts to a diverse audience, facilitate cross-departmental collaboration, and lead discussions to foster a team-oriented environment for continuous product innovation and alignment on development goals.
