Randstad is Hiring an Administrative assistant Near Sylmar, CA

Our client is a Fortune 500 provider of leading edge transportation, logistics and supply chain management solutions worldwide. They are currently hiring for an Administrative Assistant to join their team in Sylmar. As an Administrative Assistant you will play a critical role in providing administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of our organization. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of clerical tasks, including typing reports, composing correspondence, managing mail, answering inquiries, scheduling appointments, and maintaining filing systems. You will work closely with managers and team members to organize workflow and facilitate the smooth functioning of daily operations. If you have at least 1 year of experience working as an Administrative Assistant then this is the role for you.
salary: $18 - $19 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 7 AM - 3 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities
As an Administrative Assistant, Job duties include:
  • Set up and type reports, memos, presentations, and correspondence, often of a technical or confidential nature.
  • Compose routine correspondence and assist in sorting and distributing daily mail.
  • Answer routine inquiries, take messages, and direct callers to the appropriate parties.
  • Schedule appointments and make travel arrangements as needed.
  • Maintain filing systems and assist in organizing and expediting the flow of work through the manager's office.
Skills:
  • At least 1 years of previous experience in a clerical or administrative role.
  • Proficiency in additional software applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
