job summary :
As a machine operator helper, you are a machine operator in training. the machine operator trims the extra plastic off of the parts with a handheld tool (box cutter) the machine is spitting out, The worker will also assist with assembling, checking the quality of the part, keeping count, packaging the products labeling the boxes, and stacking the boxes on to a pallet, the boxes weigh between 20 to 30lbs.
they may also be working 2 or 3 machines at a time depending on the production area they are working on.
responsibilities :
As a machine operator helper, you are a machine operator in training. You will be responsible for assistance with preparing materials and product output.
Machine operator helpers are measured by their ability to use as much material as possible during the manufacturing process and ensure that there is little to no waste material, or scrap.
You must comply with company safety rules and regulations in machinery operation and assistance. Requires bending, lifting, standing, walking.
