- Prepare and load small pins (approximately 1 inch) into a grinding machine accurately.
- Work closely with a machinist to ensure the quality of the grinding process.
- Follow the machinist's instructions and collaborate to maintain high standards of work.
- Identify and report any defects or inconsistencies in the gauges.
- Sort small gauges into labeled trays.
- Perform repetitive tasks.
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of mechanical processes and tools.
- Apply high school-level math skills (decimals, fractions, multiplication, and division) without the use of a calculator.
- Employees who excel in the Production Associate role will have opportunities for advancement in the Machine Shop, Quality, and / or Shipping departments.
