Our client, a leading manufacturer in the plastics industry is seeking a Quality Inspector. You will oversee the quality of manufactured parts by adhering to part-specific work instructions based on Quality Engineering guidelines and customer specifications.
Required:
-experience in inspecting products that are produced in CNC

Contract Role: 3 Months
Pay rate range : 24/hr-34/hr DOE
location: Hudson, New Hampshire

responsibilities:
- Inspect parts using handheld Measurement & Test Equipment (M&TE) and visual techniques.
- Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and Optical Vision Systems for part inspection.
- Compare sample parts to current manufacturing orders.
- Understand work orders, work instructions, and verbal instructions.
- Apply knowledge of lot sampling techniques.
- Accept or reject parts based on quality plans.
- Process parts physically and electronically using Vaupell software; generate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for discrepant parts.
- Create inspection records to validate Quality Assurance (QA) procedures.
- Perform first part buy-offs and in-process inspections on the molding floor.
- Assist with internal audits of cells to ensure adherence to quality procedures.
- Create and store new QA part samples.
- Inspect purchased goods during receiving inspection (QRI).
- Assist in First Article Inspection (FAI).
- Train new team members on quality values and standards.
- Suggest improvements to QA processes to QA3 and above.
- Experience level: Entry Level
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Education: High School
