Summary:

RANDYS is looking for a hardworking, self-motivated, enthusiastic team player to be part of our distribution center operations. The warehouse associate will pick, pack and verify sales orders as well as the primary function of outbound intercompany transfers to multi-channel fulfillment center and general cleanliness of warehouse. Assist daily with general warehouse duties, such as stocking shelves, kitting, and general cleanliness of warehouse.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

· Work with team lead or management on obtaining a list of outbound items that are required for transfers daily.

· Count, verify and label each item that is transferred or shipped.

· Pick & Pack sales orders (parcel or LTL) shipments

· Responsible for replenishing shelves as needed

· Box and prepare orders for shipment

· Double check orders to ensure accuracy

· Use the pallet wrap machine and pallet strapping mechanism

· Cycle counts to resolve inventory issues, over/short discrepancies

· Clean, organize and maintain all warehouse areas to ensure safety and cleanliness.

· Operate heavy machinery daily (forklift, TSP, order picker, reach truck) to receive and move product around the warehouse.

· Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.

· Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisor.

· Collaborate with team members to meet distribution center requirements.

· Assist Warehouse in pulling parts orders, production and kitting departments, or any other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

· Ability to actively listen, seeks information, and asks questions to ensure the understanding of duties requested

· Ability to work overtime as needed.

· Load and unload trucks as necessary with forklift and/or by hand

· Will conduct these responsibilities in a professional and timely manner

· Ability to learn and effectively utilize company provided software for the management of inventory, items stocking and pulling orders or transfers.

· Ability to continuously lift 50 lbs. and 80 lbs. occasionally.

· Knowledge of hand tools and Pneumatic tool is a plus (not required)

· Ability to stand on your feet for 8hrs

· Ability to lift 50 lbs. and 80 lbs. occasionally.

· Have general warehouse experience

· Must have good attention to detail

· Demonstrated focus on customer service and team building

· Ability to work well independently and as part of a team

· Basic computer proficiency with MS Office

Work Hours:

Mid-shift:– Monday – Friday, 9am – 6pm

Preferred Knowledge and Experience:

· Ability to work rapidly at a constant pace for the entire shift and experience working in a fast-paced environment

· Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple assignments

· Ability to safely operate forklift and other warehouse equipment

· Familiarity or experience with the use of TSP, Reach Truck or order pickers

· Must be able to work in environment where air temperature varies due to outdoor weather changes (i.e. hot in summer, cold in winter).
