Position Summary:
Our partner, a leading multinational banking and investment firm, is seeking a Sr Network Engineer to join their dynamic team. You will play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and migration of the organization's network infrastructure, to ensure optimal performance and security. The Sr Network Engineer will be responsible for the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the network systems that underpin the organization's communication and business operations.
Experience and Education:
- Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related technical field/experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering.
- Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CCNA, TIA Security (a plus).
- Previous experience working within the financial industry (a plus).
- BGP s (route reflectors, confederations, and route optimization)

Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain BGP sessions, to ensure efficient routing and traffic management.
- Monitor BGP network performance and troubleshoot complex BGP-related issues to ensure network reliability and security.
- Develop and enforce BGP network policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Collaborate with IT teams and other departments to integrate BGP solutions with other network technologies and services.
- Participate in incident response activities related to VPN security breaches or outages.
- Develop and implement contingency plans to ensure continuity of remote access services during emergencies.
- Optimize VPN configurations to ensure efficient use of network resources.
- Implement load balancing and redundancy measures to enhance VPN reliability.
- Design and implement the organization's network architecture, ensuring scalability, and reliability.
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect the organization's network infrastructure, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of network configurations, procedures, and policies ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to network security and data privacy.
